I’m Kelly, an award-winning global marketing expert who has worked with hundreds of multi-national organisations, FTSE 250 companies, global megabrands (including Samsung, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson and The Walgreens Boots Alliance), as well as thousands of small-medium sized businesses to help them accelerate their growth and I love what I do.
Really love it.
If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would still get up every single day and do this work because I know FOR SURE I’m not meant to be doing anything else!
For several years now, I have been splitting my time between consulting for global corporate organisations and supporting and coaching small-medium sized businesses, but the truth is, I haven’t been supporting small businesses anywhere near as much as I would like.
And I really want that to change.
I want that to change because I genuinely believe there are way, WAYYY too many misconceptions and inaccuracies surrounding marketing and business growth than there should be in the SME marketplace.
Now... just to be clear... I’m not here to ‘bash’ what any other experts are doing or teaching.
I’m simply here to share what I know following 18+ years as a global marketing expert with a proven track record for success.
Why I'm here is only half of the story though. The other half is the spirit in which I am.
At a time of political and economic uncertainty, industry cynicism and fierce ego-driven competition, my intention is to create a safe and engaging community in which business owners feel genuinely supported in their marketing efforts and industry peers can come together to collaborate and share knowledge.
So… how am I going to do that?
By launching a little movement called:
Basically, I have set myself a challenge:
To help 10,000 SMEs make 2020 their best year in business ...
...by sharing everything I know about business growth and pulling in some pretty epic industry friends to share what they know too!
Will I reach the 10,000 mark? I honestly don’t know, but I’m going to give it a damn good try. And regardless, no one is going to lose out in the process :-)
So, what does the 'Best Year in Business' movement look like?
Right now, I’m tackling what business owners tell me are two of the biggest challenges in the SME space:
- A lack of comradery, support and accountability in marketing and business growth
- A lack of knowledge regarding what it really takes to market and grow a business (minus the lifestyle promises and magic button 'solutions' )
Which means I'm focused on:
1. Holding a space for business owners to share their 2020 goals (we call them Pledges!) and receive support, comradery and accountability
2. Sharing my marketing and business growth tips, tools, strategies and case studies
